A manufacturer of large transformers aimed to eliminate a large forklift from its production facility. The solution is a Genkinger low-lift pallet truck with a 20-ton capacity.
Unlike the large forklift, the pallet truck requires no counterweight and features a quiet, emission-free drive. The space saved is now used to provide additional production area to meet increased demand.
To maintain visibility even in tight situations, the pallet truck was equipped with a radio remote control. A second person for guidance is therefore no longer required.
The low entry height also allows the use of heavy-duty pallets on which loads are temporarily stored before shipping.
