The textile industry –
Transport technology for weaving, warp knitting, and spinning
Textile technology for weaving, warp knitting, and spinning places specific demands on machinery, automation, and material handling. Differences in process flows, cycle times, and material properties require solutions that are precisely tailored to the respective production conditions.
Our products and systems are designed for reliable use in continuous industrial operation and can be seamlessly integrated into existing plant structures. They ensure process-reliable material handling, reduce downtime, and contribute to a sustainable increase in efficiency, plant availability, and product quality in weaving, warp knitting, and spinning.
Our history –
Innovations for the textile industry since 1955
Genkinger has been established in the textile industry since 1955. Even back then, company founder Lothar Genkinger developed the world’s first warp beam pallet truck – an innovation for internal transport in the textile sector. This was followed by numerous patents and world firsts that revolutionised the transport, handling and storage of warp beams, spinning cans, cloth beams, cops and raw materials. Today, weaving mills, warp knitting mills and spinning mills worldwide rely on Genkinger’s reliable lifting and transport vehicles.
