Agile supply for automatic lathes
A few days ago, we delivered an EGPL and provided our customer HAWE Hydraulik with initial training at their Kaufbeuren plant. The abbreviation EGPL refers to a special 4-way high-lift truck. This compact device allows for the handling of long goods such as bars, profiles, or pipes in the tightest of spaces. This compactness is due to the design, as no counterweight is required.
These vehicles are used, for example, to supply automatic lathes with raw material—long goods. After processing, short parts can be transported further using pallets.
