15 t pallet truck for heavy tower segments
Genkinger’s 15 t pallet truck transports tower segments for wind turbines. A crane was not an option because the heavy plates are bent in one bay and welded in another. The pallet truck was precisely adapted to the operating environment and the customer’s requirements.
An adapter for smaller segments can be easily picked up while simultaneously adjusting the lift. Laser distance sensors in the tips of the prism tines ensure additional safety. For longer distances, the operator stands on a platform. When the side guards are folded out, the pallet truck can travel at higher speeds.
