Genkinger coil manipulator for safe and efficient mandrel loading.

The Genkinger coil manipulator replaces the previous complex and costly coil-handling process. The coils of a ceiling systems manufacturer were previously placed on a tilting table using a forklift and then lifted onto the mandrel by crane and C-hook.

Today, two Genkinger special transporters handle the entire process. They pick up the coils in a horizontal position (Eye to the Sky), set them upright (Eye to the Side), and then place them directly onto the mandrel.

Using the coil manipulators, the process can be carried out without a crane and C-hook. This reduces effort while increasing flexibility and process reliability.
