Apprentice Vehicle at Genkinger:
Our Apprentices Are Now Mobile!
The new apprentice vehicle at Genkinger provides greater mobility and personal responsibility. Our apprentices now have their own Piaggio APE and can independently organize short trips and errands.
The ceremonial handover took place in bright sunshine by our operations manager Torsten Brändle and works council member Andreas Adam. After a brief introduction, the apprentices were able to familiarize themselves with the vehicle immediately—because an APE drives quite differently from a car!
Our apprentices manage and maintain the vehicle independently. Now they are mobile and can organize short trips themselves, for example for errands or the shared snack run.
This way, they not only learn to take responsibility, but also have a lot of fun doing it!
