Electric Transverse-Seat Low-Lift Pallet Truck KEFU
Special equipment for transporting heavy paper rolls up to 4000 kg
Genkinger has developed a specialized electric transverse-seat low-lift pallet truck for a customer in the paper industry. The rider-seated vehicle is precisely tailored to the requirements of daily operations. The goal was a safe and ergonomic solution for the internal transport of heavy paper rolls and direct truck loading via ramps.
This electrically driven special unit allows the handling of paper rolls weighing up to 4000 kg, with a diameter of 800 to 1200 mm and a roll length of up to 3400 mm. Thanks to an extended lift range, driving over loading ramps is also possible without problems.
The design as a transverse-seat vehicle meets the requirements for long travel distances within the plant. The ergonomic operator’s station in the drive section, with sensitive joystick control, ensures precise positioning, comfortable handling, and fatigue-free work for the operator. The prism forks with tapered entry ensure damage-free ground pickup of sensitive paper rolls. Additionally, adapter plates enable the secure gripping of smaller residual rolls.

This project was developed in close cooperation with our customer and is based on our many years of experience in special construction for the paper industry. The result: an economical and safe solution for material flow within the plant and in the shipping area.
The vehicle also offers great potential for use in other industries such as the cable industry, steel industry with coil transport, and for freight forwarders in the area of goods handling and logistics.
