Flexible load handling for pallets with variable heights and defined overhang.
The AGV attachment mast for the pharmaceutical industry was developed for the internal transport of raw materials and finished goods. The products are transported in drums or containers on pallets.
A particular challenge was the defined overhang in the X-direction for the drum pallets. In addition, load units with entry openings of 800 × 100 mm had to be reliably picked up and delivered. The heights vary between 350 and 1,950 mm.
Standard solutions could not meet the requirements for positioning accuracy, stability, and hygiene. Therefore, a custom-designed lifting mast was developed for use in pharmaceutical production.
