Fixed-mounted ladder as an added benefit
Tool transport 17 t is carried out using a specially designed Genkinger low-lift truck. The vehicle is used to transport injection moulding tools that are first removed from the machines by crane.
Our customer had the problem that operators sometimes climbed onto the tool in a risky manner to unhook the crane hook, as the ladders provided were not always immediately available on site.
The solution is a simple yet safe access platform with a permanently attached extendable ladder. Employees and the employers’ liability insurance association are delighted, as tool transport can now be carried out much more safely.
