No more spotting required
At an automotive supplier, the routes between injection moulding machines, the tool store and maintenance are long and often very narrow. Several times a day, tools have to be transported between the individual stations. Here, the Genkinger tool transporter replaced a tractor with trailer that could only be manoeuvred with great effort. By contrast, the new vehicle features intuitive operation, a low centre of gravity and straightforward load securing. In addition, a radio remote control makes the platform trolley even easier for the operator to use. When passing through gates, a second person is no longer required for spotting, and the vehicle can be positioned precisely. The transporter moves loads of up to 10 tonnes.
