Handling of six-meter-long timber packages
The operator effortlessly guides 6 m long timber packages to the machine: At Treppenbau Wiehl in Bingen, Genkinger’s agile electric four-way high-lift truck demonstrates its handling qualities. The agile approach of the timber materials directly to the processing machines would not have been possible with a ‘large’ side loader, which was also considered, due to space constraints.
Pallets are also comfortably transported by the high-lift truck. The high-lift truck picks up loads using an extendable and retractable carriage, a pantograph. The timber materials required for stair production are taken from the company’s mixed cantilever and pallet storage.
Metal and timber companies are among the largest users and beneficiaries of this equipment.
