Safe Transport of Heavy Metal Parts
An Austrian manufacturer of recycling machines for paper, wood, and metal requires a platform truck for loads up to 11 t for heavy metal parts in raw material production. These primarily include shredders, blanks, and finished goods.
Given the high weights and varying shapes, the platform had to be equipped with additional safety features. The platform truck also accommodates the machine frames required for the basic assembly. This significantly extends the utility value of the Genkinger equipment.
The frames are bulky long goods: They are approximately 7 to 8 m long and 2.50 to 3 m wide. Like the shredders, they are transported over a distance of several hundred meters from raw material production to assembly.
