Wheel manipulators for wheel assembly enable fast and safe mounting of wheels on vehicles with up to nine axles from a world-leading crane manufacturer. The custom equipment is available as a tow-bar-guided version or with operator seat and enables precise positioning of heavy wheels.
- The manipulator grips the horizontally positioned wheels individually, swivels them vertically into the assembly position, and transports them to the crane.
- Using a radio remote control, the operator steers a tire in front of the axle. He quickly finds the perfect viewing angle and positions the wheel precisely from a safe distance using the radio remote control with the rotating device, lateral shift, and tilt function.
